This cacao comes from the surroundings of a small village called Cerro Blanco which is located in the rainforest-covered mountain range Selva Zoque in present-day Mexico.

This mountain range is the only place in the world where cacao has been grown and consumed continuously for over 4000 years, making it a hotspot for aromatic cacao varieties like this one.

Kakao-Zeremonie

Klar und kräftig im Geschmack und dennoch wunderbar mild. Ich kann ihn sehr empfehlen.

Schmeckt genial und hat mir geholfen

Seitdem ich Kakao trinke sind meine Herzrythmusstörungen besser geworden. Werde auch noch andere Geschmacksrichtungen ausprobieren.

Für mich mehr als ein Kakao

Seit ungefähr einem Jahr habe ich es mir zur Gewohnheit gemacht, morgens meinen Latte Macchiato mit einem oder zwei Stückchen Kakao zu genießen. (Bisher mochte ich alle Sorten, doch ich glaube, der Mexikaner hat wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes.) Da ich es nach einer Weile zu schade fand, dieses köstliche Getränk so nebenbei zum Frühstück zu trinken, nehme ich mir nun jeden Tag gleich nach dem Aufstehen eine Moruga-Auszeit auf meinem Sofa, verbunden mit einer kleinen Meditation. Obwohl mich der Kakao wunderbar belebt, fühle ich mich nun schon seit längerem insgesamt viel ausgeglichener. Danke für die Inspiration zu diesem Ritual :)
