The Cacao Coconut Cloud is a cold cacao drink with coconut water and a creamy cacao layer. It is more of a dessert drink than classic drinking chocolate: light, cold, chocolatey and good for warm days.

Ingredients for 1 glass

  • 15 Moruga Cacao Drops
  • 25 ml hot water
  • 30 ml vegan whipping cream, such as soy whipping cream
  • 30 ml barista coconut milk, or barista oat or soy milk as an alternative
  • 100 ml coconut water
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 tsp agave syrup

Preparation

  1. Dissolve the cacao drops completely in hot water. If you want the drink sweeter, stir in a little agave syrup now.
  2. Whip the vegan cream until creamy. Then slowly pour in the barista coconut milk and whip until airy.
  3. Add the liquid cacao to the cream-milk mixture and keep whipping until an even cacao cloud forms.
  4. Fill a glass with ice cubes, pour in chilled coconut water and spoon the cacao cloud on top.
